Hands-free freedom

Recently I shouted myself a new iphone. Its an early birthday present to myself for the big birthday looming.
The real present though has been the sheer versatility of this new phone. I couldn’t believe the difference it has made to my texting, phoning and contacting friends.
However today, this evening, I discovered through a special friend the ability of being ‘hands free’, I no longer have to have a phone tucked between my ear and shoulder, trying desperately to keep it in place while doing something else.
Tonight I learned the value of earphones – in the past I have avoided them like the plague. These ones are different, so gentle. I can now sit with the phone on the arm of the chair and carry out a conversation while working on the computer, knitting or cuddling the cat.
Hands free – the freedom it brings, and the lack of strain on my neck – is the new discovery for me today.
Wow – I might even be able to use it in the car.
